Lucaya Kitchen was born from my lifelong love of cooking, my Bahamian roots, and a deep desire to share the flavors of my island home with the world. I’m Tenaj, and I believe in the power of food to bring people together, spark memories, and nourish both body and soul.

Growing up in The Bahamas, I was surrounded by the freshest seafood, vibrant produce, and the simple, yet extraordinary, ingredients that make Bahamian cuisine so special. These flavors aren’t just tastes—they’re stories of community, heritage, and family. It was in my grandmother's kitchen, learning her techniques and savoring the meals she prepared, that I first understood the magic of seasoning and the importance of taking time to cook with intention.

Lucaya Kitchen is my way of honoring that tradition. After years of exploring flavors and perfecting recipes, I wanted to create a brand that not only celebrated the richness of Bahamian cuisine but also reflected the values of sustainability and wellness that are so important to me.
